David Fairbanks, Owner and Manager

David, a long-time resident of Watkinsville, GA, has over twenty years of experience in construction (not counting the time he spent as a boy working for his uncles). He spent most of that time around Athens, GA, where he gained experience in virtually all aspects of the construction industry. David has worked as a framer, concrete finisher, historic buildings renovator, trim carpenter, production manager and operations manager on residential, commercial and government projects. He even has experience in material sales and service, all of which helps him create extra value for his customers.

During this time, David found his passion for roofing, and has made it his goal to learn as much about roofing as possible. To stay on top of his education in the field, David has achieved the title of Lifetime Quality Master and Master Shingle Applicator; attended NRCA’s Roofing University, Lomanco Ventilation Education Seminar, and Durolast Installation Education Seminars; and earned the Life Pine Certification, Eco-Star Certification, and GAF Installation Qualification.

David has been happily married to his wife Andrea for 17 years. He and Andrea, a 6th grade math teacher at Oconee Middle, have a 13 year old daughter, Savanna Jane, and a 9 year old son, Zane. The family loves spending time together outdoors hiking, fishing, camping, and hunting. Also part of the family are 3 dogs and a cat, plus a yard full of free-range chickens that provide the family with healthy eggs. In his spare time, David enjoys working on the family garden, and values the principles of sowing and reaping – lessons he applies to his business and passes along to his children.

The Fairbanks family is also heavily involved in the community. David is an Army Veteran of the Signal Corps., and the family are members of Grace Fellowship Church, where Andrea teaches Children’s Church. The two are also very active with Relay for Life, in addition to helping raise money for widows and orphans in Georgia.

David considers his commitment to morals and ethics as his greatest strength, and he stands behind anything he does. His dream is to leave behind a legacy of hard work, honesty, and dependability – traits he lives every day on the job and at home with the family.
